Help The Rising Church in Olde Town Arvada with basic supplies for the growing homeless population in Arvada.

We will be collecting supplies during church on the weekends of August 3-4 & 10-11 at Red Rocks Church Arvada Campus. Just bring anything you can contribute to church on the designated weekends and we’ll deliver the supplies when it’s all been collected.

The Rising Church in Olde Town Arvada is working hard to aid Arvada’s growing homeless population with basic supplies. They are currently gearing up for the winter and are in need of sleeping bags, gently used jackets, and blankets.

A New Spin Bike Recyclery

Get donated bikes tested and ready to resell for the benefit of at-risk youth and adults in our community.

A New Spin is a full-service bike shop that uses used bikes as a means to teach job skills to at-risk youth/kids and adults with disabilities. A New Spin has received many donated bikes and needs our help to get them ready to sell! We’ll complete the initial screening of the donated bikes by riding them around the parking lot to test the brakes, tires, and gears. More advanced bike repair skill levels are welcome, but no bike repair skills are necessary.

Save Our Youth Backpack Donation

Help at-risk students in the Arvada area by donating a backpack and school supplies.

We will be collecting backpacks during church on the weekends of July 20-21 & 27-28 at Red Rocks Church Arvada Campus for Save Our Youth. Just bring your backpack loaded with school supplies to church on the designated weekend and we will distribute the supplies to Save Our Youth. A full list of the needed school supplies is available at redrockssports.com.

Save Our Youth is a youth development organization providing at-risk youth with educational, emotional, and spiritual skills for success through long-term mentoring relationships. They collaborate with individuals and groups in the community to increase awareness of kids' resilience and to support their success. Save Our Youth mentors bring experience, compassion, and time to provide kids a caring advocate by their side.

Arvada High School Resource Center Supply Donations

Help fill Arvada High School’s Family Resource Center with gently used or new clothes (high school aged, male or female) and non-perishable food items.

We will be collecting any and all donated items on the weekends of July 20-21 & 27-28 at Red Rocks Church Arvada Campus.

Arvada High School is the most under-resourced high school in Arvada and it serves some of our community’s poorest families. The Family Resource Center was created to help those families with basic needs such as food and clothing. Help us fill it and be a part of meeting the needs of people right in our own neighborhoods.

Bring any items (new or used clothes for high school guys or girls, as well as non-perishable foods) with you to church on the designated weekend and we will distribute the supplies to the high school at the end of the collection window.

Rockies Game Hope House Concession Team

Join Hope House of Colorado and help raise $16,000 over five different days to empower teen moms by working the concession stands at Coors Field. 

Volunteer to work concessions for the Colorado Rockies as part of the Hope House Concession Team. Serve on one or all of the dates listed: (we need 30 volunteers for each game).

Hope House is a local ministry that works to equip and empower teen moms. Sixty-seven percent of teen mothers live below the poverty line and an even higher percentage are either homeless or living in an abusive situation. Hope House exists to address the issue of homelessness and provides a program as well as a stable home for teen moms to strive for self-sufficiency and to understand their significance in God’s sight, resulting in a healthy future for them and their children.

Neighborhood Rehab is a collection of volunteers who work throughout Golden, Arvada, Idaho Springs and Englewood, addressing warm, dry, and safety needs within families and individual homes. We invite homeowners into a dignified process that enables them to be involved addressing their household needs, learning maintenance skills, and building community relationships.

Any Baby Can

Any Baby Can provides licensed services to low income families whose children have cancer, chronic illness and other disabilities, and services for first time moms who are at-risk. Red Rocks has purchased 75 bags for teen moms and babies and are going to be handing them out at services on the 21st and 28th for you to go fill! There is a list of supplies to grab in the bag to make your shopping trip easy! All bags are to be returned by services on August 4th and will then be delivered to Any Baby Can to be distributed to teen moms and their babies! Estimated supply cost: $10-15.

Together We Rise

T.A. Brown Elementary School serves about 400 students in Pre-K through fifth grade in the Austin School District. The school focuses on literacy, and offer students various fine arts opportunities. Due to unforeseen circumstances, T.A. Brown Elementary had to move out of their building and are now running school out of trailers on another schools campus. School is now in session, and these students need school supplies to help out for a great school year. Join us for a day of shopping as we gather supplies for these elementary school kids!

Cherut Serve Day

Join us as we serve the organization “Cherut” (which means “freedom” in Hebrew) as they minister to women who are involved in human trafficking or prostitution.

Cherut has a safe house located on the outskirts of the Red Light District in Antwerp. This building has space for housing and therapy for the women as well as offices, a prayer room and a cafe. We have the opportunity to come paint different areas of the building and do a deep cleaning. Come and help us refresh and prepare this space where such important ministry happens!

The Adopt-a-Block program is an outreach that demonstrates Godʼs unconditional love to the Denver community through practical acts of service. These acts of service range from lawn care and home repair to delivering toys for Christmas and playing games in the neighborhood on an event Saturday. DDC partners with Denver Housing Authority and Denver Parks and Recreation in several locations to serve and love the community.

This is an awesome event where kids can come and spend time with their mentor, eat some delicious food, hear the Gospel, and have fun in the summer sun playing sports outside! The kids of Save Our Youth also get to come and pick out a brand new backpack filled with supplies to set them up for success for the upcoming school year. The backpacks at this event are collected as a congregation from the Red Rocks Church Annual Backpack Drive. Save Our Youth Staff will need help with set-up/tear-down, registration, backpack distribution, grilling, playing sports with kiddos and mentors, and photography.

Open Arms Food Bank is in need of non-perishable items that can be stored and given to families in need throughout the year. Items include: protein/canned meat (tuna, chicken, peanut butter, nuts, spaghetti-os), cereal, cooking oil, canned fruits, any canned foods with pop-tops. Items can be dropped off and collected at the Red Rocks Littleton Campus during weekend services.
